Approximately ten years ago, our HERATEC division underwent a shift from thermoforming moulds for the packaging industry to moulding solutions for the aviation industry.

The requirements of this market mean you need to gain some altitude to ascertain a successful take-off… We thus acquired standard EN9100 and are proud to be among the first five suppliers of the Airbus Helicopters Tooling division.

We are involved in the production of various types of tooling even though our core expertise remains the machining of aviation dies within the framework of the production of aviation moulding tooling.

We are also present on the Le Bourget Airbus Helicopter and Airbus Toulouse sites, our aim being to provide production and assembly teams with the highest level of support possible.

Whether it be moulding, bending or deep-drawing, our renowned experts are totally in tune with the needs and requirements of the aviation industry.

MACHINING AND 3D PRINTING: TWO COMPLEMENTARY TECHNIQUES

Two highly complementary techniques are now offered by HERATEC: machining and 3D printing for tooling addressing different needs. Machining enables the production of moulds that will be used to make parts for the aviation industry. 3D printing enables the manufacturing of prototypes, repair, drilling, tracing or protection tooling for assembly or maintenance operations.
