In addition to thermoforming, 3D printing offers an alternative to dies that cannot be machine-cut. This technique enables us to create high-quality lightweight, easy to handle, ergonomic and functional items.
In addition to machining, our 3D printer enables us to produce high-quality functional parts and provides an ideal alternative for:
– parts prototyping
– tooling fabrication
– identical parts replacement for the automotive and medical sectors.
Ergonomic, easy to handle and lightweight, it is also used to produce shapes that cannot be cut out using traditional methods.
Our HERATEC facility has selected the FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) additive manufacturing process. This technique enables us to manufacture advanced performance parts that are durable and solid. They retain their mechanical, thermal and chemical qualities (as with thermoplastic injection moulding) and production is clean, safe and economical.
Our machines are able to produce large-size products (900X600X900) and can model different thermoplastic materials including nylon, polycarbonates, ASA, Ultem 9085 and Ultem 9085CG (aviation).
Thanks to its combination of 3D printing and 5-axis machining capabilities, our facility can produce unique tooling solutions and complex shapes with the utmost precision.
